Path to Witchery

"Path to Witchery" is a solo journaling RPG where you embark on a long journey of six years as a trainee village witch. Sent by The Order to study in different locations, you will immerse yourself in the mystical arts, honing your skills before moving on to a next place, all while documenting your progress. From mastering new spells to delving into herbal medicine, your path will be a transformative experience. Forge deep connections, expand your horizons, and embrace the secrets waiting to be unveiled!

To play "Path to Witchery“, you will need a journal to write down your adventures, along with a 6-sided die and a standard deck of cards. You may also use the Tarot cards. The Minor Arcana suits in tarot mostly align with the standard card suits, except for the page cards, which act as wild cards.

This game had started as a prequel to the game “Village Witch” by Kestrel Eliot. You may also try and continue your story, using any other game from the “Village Witch Jam”, or any other journaling game/tabletop campaign/work of fiction, etc.

I'd also recommend to use this game alongside your studies, if it is applicable to you. Another reason why I started to think on it was to help me choose on what part of my studies should I concentrate today - should I finally write my supervisor and report something? should I finish all my assignments earlier? perhaps it is time for self-care or pet care or nature walk? With such thoughts this game was born and started to develop further. 

This is an alpha-version, as currently I am experimenting with the format and see how I can make the prompts bigger and the world more detailed while still giving the players the freedom to interpret it in any way they like. More updates after first semester ends, I guess.
